Windows 8: ways to determine whether windows update was installed in your computer.

It happened with you that when you was trying to install an update from Windows Update, you got a message saying install the update again. This is just because your update is not installed correctly the first time or the windows update settings of your computer can not detect the update. For windows 8 operating system follow the methods describe below.

Firstly you need to review the installation history. To do this you need to press the Windows + C key combination from your keyboard and then click the Search charm.

In the search box type windows update and click on Settings. After that you need to click on View update history. Now locate the novel entry for the specific update.

In the Status column if the entry states Successful that means update was installed. If states Pending in the Status column that means update was not installed.

Firstly you need to make a right click on the .odt file which you want to convert after that select the Open with > WordPad option. You need to choose default program menu if word pad is not display on the list.

How to convert rows in column in Excel 2013?

Hey friends here in this blog I describe you about an advantageous feature of Excel 2013 that you can automatically convert rows into columns. You guys think that it is very small feature feature but still it saves your lot of time. Now here question is arise how it works? No problem here i describe you how you can convert rows in to columns in very easy way.

Firstly you need to select the entire table in Excel 2013 which you like to convert to either column or row format.

Now you have to make a right click on table and copy it either by selecting Copy or by using the  keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + C".

Here you need to remember that not select the Cut option only choose copy option otherwise your data will gone.

Now you have to choose Paste Special by clicking on Home tab on the top of the window.
In this Paste Special box you need to check the Transpose box and after that click on OK.

Now a new table is displays on your screen with converted form that is rows are converted into columns.

Now here you have to search the name of the person whom you want to merge, under the Link Another Contacts heading and then click on it. Now it will merge the contacts right away and you can see both names under Linked Contacts heading.
To confirm that contacts are merged you need to click on the name which you selected earlier and check it shows the merged information.
